Tourists from Moscow will be brought to Turkey with new flights

Ural Airlines' Moscow-origin flights to Turkey, Antalya, Dalaman, and Bodrum for summer tours have been put on sale. This was reported to the editors of Tourdom.ru by a subscriber of the "Roof of TourDom" telegram channel. The information was confirmed by the tour operator Fun & Sun, which offers these tour packages to its customers.

In particular, the carrier plans to start flights to Bodrum in addition to the flights announced by other airlines starting from the end of May. Aeroflot planes will fly from Moscow to the resort during the summer season as well, just like in 2023. Biblio-Globus offers tours to its customers using these flights.

Tour packages with AZUR flights are created by tour operators Anex and Intourist. The airline also plans flights from Moscow to Bodrum in partnership with the tour operator LOTI using the Lujo BlackJet business jet.

Turkish airlines are also scheduling flights to the region. Tour reservations with Turkish Airlines flights can be made through Pegas Touristik, Anex, Intourist, Pegasus - Anex, and Intourist.

It's worth noting that the same four airlines flew the same route last season, so we can consider Ural Airlines' transportation as an expansion. Will there be demand for the new flights?

Experts say yes, but under certain conditions: "Tours to Bodrum sell well; it's a popular holiday destination. However, hotel rooms are quickly filling up, especially from tour operators from other markets such as Europe. Therefore, it makes sense for transportation to be arranged only for guaranteed hotel rooms. The leasing will be justified if the tour operator loading the flights instantly has the required number of rooms."

Expectations for the flight program will also depend on prices: how competitive they will be compared to other market participants.

Ural Airlines' flights to Turkish holiday destinations and Egypt came about due to the removal of aircraft from foreign registration and the elimination of possible claims. After completing an insurance agreement for 19 Airbus planes with an Irish lessor, the carrier will be able to fly the planes abroad again.
