Traffic continues to be heavy on tourism routes

Traffic continues to be heavy on the Kuşadası, Didim, Bodrum, Milas, and Muğla road, which is one of the most important routes for accessing the tourism resorts in the Aydın and Muğla provinces. The nearly constant congestion throughout the day often results in long vehicle queues, especially on the Ortaklar-Söke-Bodrum road.

Traffic remains heavy on the highways in Aydın, which is home to significant vacation spots in the Aegean Region. Vacationers from various parts of Turkey traveling to Aydın’s Didim and Kuşadası districts and Muğla’s Milas and Bodrum districts continue to cause congestion on the roads. Local tourists heading to their holiday destinations with their vehicles are creating traffic jams on the Aydın-Söke and Söke-Didim highways. The congestion, particularly at the Novada and Güllubahçe junctions, is causing difficulties for drivers.

While the traffic is seen as a positive sign for tourism, with facilities experiencing some of the busiest days of the year, the occupancy rates in these establishments are reported to be nearly 100%.
