Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (İSG) Airport broke two big records on the same weekend, increasing the record it had achieved with 123 thousand 449 passengers on July 14 to 123 thousand 607 on 674 flights on Sunday, July 16.
The busiest weekend of all time was experienced at Sabiha Gökçen, the city's Airport. The 'daily number of passengers' record achieved during the Eid al-Adha was broken again on Friday, July 14, and the number of passengers reached 123,607 with 674 flights operated on Sunday, July 16 with a one-day break, was crowned with a new record.
ISG broke the international records with 36,316 inbound passengers with 198 flights and 32,381 departing passengers with 195 flights, with a total of 393 flights and 68,697 passengers.

Sabiha Gökçen Airport, which serves a total of 156 destinations and 52 countries with 39 domestic and 117 international routes, added Saudi Arabian Al Kasım and Kazan, Russia Airports to its destination map in June, and completed its preparations for its new route to Podgorica on 19 July.
According to the data of the airport authority HEAŞ, in Sabiha Gökçen, which hosted a total of 17 million passengers in the first 6 months of this year, 108 thousand 60 flights were carried out in January-June.
