Visa exemption from Iran to 28 countries

Iran has announced the unilateral removal of visa requirements for citizens of 28 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Uzbekistan, Tunisia, Tanzania, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, Brazil, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, and India, among others, starting from February 4th, in an effort to boost tourism in the country. Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister, Ali Rıza Bigdeli, stated that the decision to lift visa requirements was taken unilaterally by Iran, and the relevant regulations for its implementation have been communicated to the relevant authorities. Bigdeli mentioned, 'We have decided to unilaterally lift visas for 28 countries to revitalize and promote tourism in the country. Citizens of these 28 countries will be able to travel to Iran without a visa starting from February 4th.' Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, Bahrain, Uzbekistan, Tunisia, Tanzania, Japan, Indonesia, Singapore, Brazil, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Belarus, and India are among the 28 countries benefiting from Iran's visa exemption.
