Various events were held as part of the "Vyshivanka Day" across Ukraine, where the war has been going on for about 15 months. A ceremony was held in Kharkiv, one of the cities most damaged due to the war, on the occasion of Vyshivanka Day, accompanied by the sound of sirens.
Kharkiv residents, wearing traditional clothes with national embroidery designs, gathered in front of the "Taras Shevchenko" statue in the center of the city and sang the Ukrainian national anthem and traditional songs.
Vyshyvanka Day is also celebrated with similar events in some countries outside of Ukraine.
