Çanakkale Seddülbahir Castle, which was restored by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Çanakkale Wars and Gelibolu Historical Site Presidency in 2015 and completed with great care, will be opened on the 108th anniversary of the Martyrs' Day and the Çanakkale Naval Victory. Restoration works at Seddülbahir Castle, which was built during the reign of Mehmet IV, the Ottoman Sultan to defend the entrance of the Çanakkale, have been completed. We went through a restoration process that lasted for 8 years, where a well was dug from time to time with a needle, and from time to time meetings were held to replace a stone. As the Presidency of the Historic Site, we are happy that at the end of this work, we have revealed the real structure of this castle. We have preserved its originality. In terms of restoration, we have carried out an exemplary work both in Turkey and in the world."
