Flight request of business people from Şanlıurfa

Business people from Şanlıurfa, who had to go via Gaziantep because there were no flights from Şanlıurfa to Antalya, once again reiterated their demand for increasing flights. The lack of flights in Şanlıurfa and the cancellation of existing flights are always on the city's agenda. Finally, this problem cannot be overcome in the city where Izmir flights have been canceled. The President and Members of Şanlıurfa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ŞUTSO), who recently made a press statement and expressed their demands for increasing the number of flights in the city, emphasized these demands once again. ŞUTSO Chairman Mehmet Doğan Yetim and his accompanying members, who had to go via Gaziantep due to the lack of flights in Şanlıurfa to attend the YÖREX Fair held in Antalya, once again expressed the problems they experienced. ŞUTSO President Yetim, who shared a post on his social media account, said, "Together with the delegation consisting of our Board of Directors and Assembly Members, we had to go to Antalya from Gaziantep to attend the YOREX Fair due to the lack of flights in our city Şanlıurfa. "We hereby renew our demand to increase the number of flights to our city." Reacting to the situation, ŞUTSO Assembly President Serhat Karadağ shared his post on his social media account and said, “Since there was no flight, we boarded from Gaziantep again. These negative developments at the transportation point, which is the lifeblood of tourism, deal a great blow to the development of our city on the axis of tourism and business. Our flights and their numbers need to be improved urgently!”

Demand for visa-free tours increased by 34 percent this summer

Tatil Sepeti, which started selling international holidays in 2009, researched the change in domestic and international holiday locations. Stating that accommodation and transportation costs have recently caused holidaymakers who prefer the Mediterranean and Aegean regions to turn to nearby locations, Tatil Sepeti explained that the problems at the visa stage in international tours have brought about a great increase in demand in visa-free countries. 'DEMAND FOR VISA-FREE TOURS INCREASED’ Reminding that millions of people have planned their holidays through Tatilsepeti.com in the last 20 years, Tatilsepeti Board Chairman Kaan Karayal said, “The problems experienced in Schengen visas have brought a serious increase in visa-free tours. According to the Holiday Basket data, the demand for visa-free tours in the summer we left behind increased by 34 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. We are experiencing significant increases in visa-free tours to many locations including Kosovo, Morocco, Phuket, Pattaya, Bangkok, North Macedonia, Egypt and Bosnia and Herzegovina.” 'DEMAND FOR SAPANCA INCREASED BY 160 PERCENT' Emphasizing that they have observed changes in the preference of holiday destinations in the domestic market, Kaan Karayal said, “Our southern beaches are still popular, but the rising holiday costs have started to direct consumers to nearby locations. According to Tatil Sepeti data, there is a serious increase in demand for Sapanca, Ayvalık, Assos and Bolu respectively. During the past summer months, our tour sales for these 4 locations increased by 72 percent compared to the same period last year. Moreover, this rate reached 103 percent in June. We have never observed such intense demand before. "When we examined it on a location basis, the increase in demand especially for Sapanca reached 160 percent."
