The first charter flight of the season to Erciyes Ski Resort
Following the opening of the ski season at Erciyes Ski Resort, a group of foreign tourists arrived in Kayseri from the Czech Republic through a charter flight. Hamdi Elcuman, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Erciyes Inc., stated, "For the first time, we opened up to the Czech Republic market. Our first flight from the Czech Republic has landed." The foreign tourists were greeted by Hamdi Elcuman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Erciyes Inc., and Şükrü Dursun, the Director of Culture and Tourism of Kayseri Province. Hamdi Elcuman, also the Deputy Secretary-General of the Metropolitan Municipality and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Erciyes Inc., stated, "Erciyes is one of the new destinations in Turkey. When we talk about new destinations, we actually consider regions with direct flights. For the past three to five years, tourists have been coming to Erciyes through direct charter flights."
Hamdi Elcuman, expressing that they opened up to the Czech Republic market for the first time, stated, "Today has a special significance. We have opened up to the Czech Republic market for the first time. Our first flight from the Czech Republic has landed. Our guests are gradually arriving. On Friday, we will also have flights from Poland. In previous years, we had flights directly from Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus. Unfortunately, the war has affected them. But we are opening up to new markets. Hopefully, Czechia is the first of these, and next year we will see charters from the UK. Our colleagues are working intensively."
Elcuman emphasized that planes from both the Czech Republic and Poland would come to Kayseri for 12 weeks, and the tourists would stay in various hotels, contributing to the local economy. He expressed his gratitude to everyone involved, including the agency and its foreign partners, and concluded, "Hopefully, with local and foreign interest, Erciyes will be full to the brim. It will contribute to the national income of our city."
Hamdi Elcuman, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Erciyes Inc., also thanked Traveyo, stating, "I want to thank Traveyo especially. Çedok and İteka are working with foreigners. This will be a beautiful promotion. Thank you once again."
Şükrü Dursun, the Director of Culture and Tourism of Kayseri Province, mentioned, "Last week, the ski season started at Erciyes. Our guests have started skiing. Today, we came to welcome the guests from the Czech Republic for the first time."
Highlighting that both the first charter flight of the season and the first guests from the Czech Republic had arrived, Dursun continued his statement:
"We were hosting our guests with charter flights from different countries. However, our guests are coming for the first time from the Czech Republic. It is both the first charter flight of the season and our first guests from the Czech Republic. In this sense, it is significant. As you know, Erciyes is now a globally recognized destination. Every day, we host guests from different countries and destinations. We want to welcome guests here with promotions, including various countries in Europe and different countries worldwide.
