International Space Conference will be held in Antalya

Speaking at the "Büyütech Turkey's First Camera Systems Production Facility Opening Ceremony" held in the Informatics Valley in Gebze district of Kocaeli, Kacır stated that he received good news from Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, and wanted to share it. Pointing out that the International Space Conference is the largest space event in the world, Kacır said: "This conference is taking place in Baku, Azerbaijan this year. We were candidates for this big event to take place in Antalya, Turkey, in 2026, and we were in a race regarding this candidacy process. My friends just called and informed me that our Turkey won this race and Antalya will host the world's largest space congress in 2026. May it be beneficial to our country and nation. Believe me, this is our common success, our common source of pride. "In the previous speeches, everyone actually shared with very decent and elegant expressions how we achieved this success story together." Minister Kacır emphasized that everyone who believes in Turkey's future has a great contribution to such successes; "Because these achievements are the success of the science, R&D, innovation ecosystem and entrepreneurship ecosystem that we have built together as Turkey steps into the second century of our Republic, the Turkish Century, as our President asserts and expresses. These achievements are the results of the world's careful monitoring of our achievements to date. I believe that together we will achieve much greater things in the Turkish Century."
