Boztepe'de hayata geçirilen bu proje, üç ayda yarım milyondan fazla kişi tarafından kullanıldı. Başkan Güler’in “3 ay değil 12 ay Ordu” sloganı, şehri her alanda zirveye taşımaya devam ediyor. Yapılan yatırımlar, Ordu'yu daha cazip bir turizm merkezi haline getirirken, şehri ziyaret eden turistlerin ilgisini çekiyor. Heyecan ve adrenalin dolu anlar yaşatıyor Son aylarda Ordu turizmine kazandırılan dağ kızağı, ziyaretçilerin en çok ilgi gösterdiği turizm noktalarından biri oldu. Karadeniz’in en önemli ticaret ve turizm merkezi olmak amacıyla son iki yıldır hızlı bir atılım sergileyen Ordu, deniz turizmi ve taşımacılığında çıtayı yükseltiyor. Eylül ayında Ünye Limanı vasıtasıyla Rusya ile Ro-Ro seferlerinin başlamasıyla birlikte uluslararası deniz taşımacılığına başlayan Ordu, bu kez dünya deniz turizminin en önemli alanlarından biri olan kruvaziyer turizmine ev sahipliği yapacak. Ordu Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler’in çalışmaları ile rıhtım sayısı arttırılan, derinliği arttırılarak yüksek tonajlı gemilerin girişine elverişli hale getirilerek büyütülen Ünye Limanı, yılda 40 civarında kruvaziyer gemisi ağırlamaya hazırlanıyor. İlk kruvaziyer gemisi 19 Aralık Pazartesi günü sabah saat 09.00’da limana yanaşacak. Daha önce Rusya’nın Soçi kentinden başlayıp Trabzon, Sinop, İstanbul ve Bozcaada’yı kapsayan rotada gezi gerçekleştiren Astoria Grande adlı kruvaziyer geminin sahibi olan holding yöneticileri ile bir dizi görüşmeler gerçekleştiren Ordu Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler, gezi rotasına Ordu’nun da eklenmesini sağladı. 1350 kişi kapasiteli Astoria Grande adlı cruise geminin bundan sonraki rotası Trabzon, Ordu, Sinop, İstanbul ve Bozcaada şeklinde olacak. “Ordu için bir ilk ve büyük bir adım” Ordu Büyükşehir Belediye Başkanı Dr. Mehmet Hilmi Güler, Ordu’nun bundan sonra deniz taşımacılığı ve deniz turizminde yer alacağını belirtti. Başkan Güler, “Biz Büyükşehir Belediyesi olarak Ordu’yu bir bütün olarak ele alıyoruz. Burada en önemli avantajlarımızdan biri de Ünye Limanı. Ünye Limanına gelecek olan kruvaziyer gemi bütün Ordu’ya gelmiş oluyor. Dolayısıyla siftahı yapacağız ve bu çok önemli bir adım. Çünkü hiç düşünülmeyen işleri gündeme alıyoruz. Bu hem turizm hem ekonomimiz hem de kültürümüz açısından çok önemli” dedi. “1000’in üzerinde yolcu ağırlayacağız” Gelecek olan geminin 1000’in üzerinde yolcu ile geleceğini vurgulayan Başkan Güler, “1000’in üzerinde yolcu ağırlayacağız. Bir kısmını Ünye’de bir kısmını da Fatsa üzerinden Altınordu’ya getirerek burada ağırlayacağız. Bu kruvaziyer seferleri bundan sonra inşallah devam edecek. Bunu gerçekleştirmek için Ünye Limanının derinliğini artırdık, tesisi geliştirdik. Aynı zamanda da yolcu terminali yaptık. 1000’in üzerinde yolcu ağırlayacak yolcu terminalini 25 günde inşa ettik. Ordumuzun güzelliklerini gelen misafirlerimize göstereceğiz” diye konuştu. “Ünye Limanı'ndan sonra Altınordu ve Fatsa’da aynı çalışmaları yapacağız” Altınordu ve Fatsa’da da benzer çalışmaların yapılacağını söyleyen Başkan Güler, sıradan bir liman olan Ünye’nin artık bambaşka bir çekim merkezi haline dönüştüğünü belirtti. Başkan Güler sözlerini şöyle tamamladı: “Bundan sonra ayrıca Ordu Limanı'nı geliştiriyoruz. Rıhtımı geliştiriyoruz bununla ilgili çalışmalarımız var. Fatsa ile ilgili çalışmalarımız var. Ekonomiyi bütün olarak ele alıyoruz. Ro-Ro seferleri çok ses getirdi. Artık tabiri caizse kasa kasa değil tır tır malları yüklüyoruz. Bu da ekonomimize çok büyük katkı sunacak. Daha evvelden sıradan bir liman görünümündeyken sadece çimento ve maden yüklenilen bir yeri bambaşka bir çekim merkezi haline getiriyoruz. Bunu da tarımla turizmle kültürle destekleyerek burayı turizm ve ekonomi merkezi olarak geliştiriyoruz.
