Ministry approved: New ski center is coming

The projected length of the slopes is between 100 meters and 4,000 meters. With a distance of 65 kilometers to the city center and 85 kilometers to the airport, and considering the suitability of the terrain for winter tourism and winter sports, we find it appropriate to build a comprehensive ski facility on Göndeliç mountain.' The facility, which will be established on a 4,000-hectare area, will have 9 different mechanical facilities.

Bicycle race from zero to the top from Muratpaşa Municipality

Muratpaşa Municipality is organizing a bicycle climbing race on the 1,853-meter-high Feslikan Plateau, in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey. The Taurus Goat 100th Anniversary Antalya Climb Race, where the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Turkish Cycling Federation, Antalya Bicycle Association, Antalya Bicycle Festival Association, Bicycle Tourism Association as well as private companies are among the supporters, will be held on Sunday, October 22. In the event, where nearly 500 athletes in different categories are expected to pedal, a 50-kilometer track, 22 kilometers of which will be climbing, will be covered. The race, in which participants can participate by road or mountain bike, will last from Muratpaşa Municipality Atatürk City Square to Feslikan Plateau at an altitude of 1,853 meters. Sports events organized by Muratpaşa Municipality in memory of the 100th anniversary of the Republic will continue on the tennis courts. The 100th Anniversary Republic Tennis Tournament, which will be held on 17-27 October, will be held at ASTUR Sports Facilities. Halikarnas 100th Anniversary Cup, the first stage of the Presidential International Yacht Race, organized for the fourth time this year under the auspices of the Presidency, started in Bodrum Yalıkavak. Domestic and foreign athletes sailing in the blue waters of the Aegean compete in a fascinating atmosphere on the Bodrum-Marmaris-Bodrum route. The race, where sailing enthusiasts will complete a course of 250 nautical miles in total, witnessed the fierce struggle of more than 450 athletes competing in 45 teams. The teams competing on the boats consist of teams of minimum 2 and maximum 15 people.
