Bodrum’da turizmcilerin hedefi kasım ayı

Muğla’nın Bodrum ilçesinde turizm hareketliliği devam ediyor. Ağustos ayının temmuza göre daha hareketli geçtiği Bodrum’da otellerdeki doluluk oranı yüzde 80’lere ulaştı. Yabancı turist sayısında artış olduğunu söyleyen Bodrum Otelciler Derneği Başkanı Ömer Faruk Dengiz, “Kruvaziyer turizmi Bodrum için çok önemli. Geçen sene yılın ilk 7 ayında kruvaziyerlerle 83 bin kişi gelmişti, bu sene aynı dönemde rakam 93 bine çıktı. Bu noktada hem deniz hem de hava yoluyla olmak üzere 794 bin yabancı turist geldi. Geçen yıl aynı dönemde bu rakam 714 bin civarındaydı.” dedi. Hedefin 10 ayda 1 milyon 400 bin sınırını aşmak olduğunu söyleyen Dengiz, “Otellerimizde şu an yüzde 80'nin üzerinde bir doluluk söz konusu. Ağustos sonuna kadar yüzde 80'nin üzerine çıkacağımızı düşünüyorum. Yaşadığımız onca şeyden sonra herkes kendi işini yapmaya çalışıyor.” diye konuştu. Bodrum Otelciler Derneği Başkan Yardımcısı Alişir Şahin, iç pazarda yaşanan daralmanın sürdüğünü belirterek, “Şu an rezervasyonlarda bir artış başladı. Ağustos ayı içerisinde temmuza göre daha iyi bir yoğunluk görünüyor. Okullar açılana kadar bunun böyle devam edebileceğini ön görüyoruz.” dedi. “FİYATLAR BİN 500 LİRADAN BAŞLIYOR” Okullar açıldıktan sonra emekli misafirlerin tatil planlaması olduğunu hatırlatan Şahin, “Eylül ayında fiyatlarda bir düşüş oluyor. Eylül, ekim ve kasım ayının sıcak geçmesi bekleniyor. Yüksek sezondan düşük sezona geçeceğimiz için de fiyatlar da düşmüş olacak. Bundan dolayı da özellikle tatili planlamayanlar, gelemeyenler içinde bir fırsat olur. Bodrum'da 8 farklı bölge var. O yüzden Bodrum’da her bütçeye uygun tatil imkanı var. Kişi başı konaklama fiyatları 1500 liradan başlıyor.” diye konuştu.

Perception of high prices leads to last-minute discounts

Reminding that there are alternative markets for European tourists, Ustaoğlu said, 'They offer more affordable prices than us because their costs are not as high as ours.' In 2023, 1.3 million foreign tourists visited Bodrum

The number of tourists coming to Bodrum by air has increased

Pandemic rules are removed, hotels are returning to their old days

The safe tourism certification brought to tourism facilities due to Kovid-19 has ended and tourism facilities have begun to return to their old days. Following the spread of the Kovid-19 virus in Turkey, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism mandated safe tourism certification to hotels in 2020. It obliged hotels to comply with certain criteria such as masks, distance and hygiene rules for domestic and foreign tourists. Open buffets were turned into closed buffets, table and chair distances, hygiene sprays and many similar rules were put into effect. The previous day, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism informed tourism professionals that the safe tourism certification program has ended. Tourism facilities began to return to their old days. We hope that those above a certain room capacity in the sustainable tourism certification program will be included in this program. In other words, hotels over 30 or 50 rooms can be subject to a sustainable hotel certificate. Referring to the rule of lifeguards at the beach facilities located next to each other, Mayor Dengiz said, “It is obligatory to have a lifeguard at the beach facilities affiliated to the Ministry. There are 10 facilities on the shore, each of which has to hire lifeguards. In addition, it is mandatory to have a lifeguard hut. There should be 10 side-by-side lifeguard huts. We are saying that this situation should be made easier. We hope that the authorities will give us justice on this issue."

Türkiye Otelciler Federasyonu (TÜROFED) Yönetim Kurulu üyesi ve Bodrum Otelciler Derneği (BODER) Başkanı Ömer Faruk Dengiz, önemli olanın ülkenin bekası olduğunu ifade ederek, “Bilindiği gibi tüm Türkiye seçime gitti. Halkımız vatandaşlık görevini yaparak oylarını kullandı. Cumhurbaşkanlığı seçiminin 2’nci tura kalmasıyla birlikte doğal olarak vatandaşlarımız tatil planlarını ötelemiş oldu. Geçen seneyle karşılaştırırsak 100 günde yüzde 45 artış görüldü. Kurvaziyer turizminde de ciddi sayıda seferler başladı. Bu durum turizm için iyi bir gelişmedir. Umarım bu şekilde sezon devam eder” dedi.

Oteller eski günlerine geri dönüyor, pandemi kuralları kaldırıldı

Kovid-19 nedeniyle turizm tesislerine getirilen güvenli turizm sertifikasyonu son bulurken, turizm tesisleri eski günlerine geri dönmeye başladı. Kovid-19 virüsünün Türkiye’de yaygınlaşmasının ardından Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı 2020 yılında güvenli turizm sertifikasyonunu otellere zorunlu kılmıştı. Oteller yerli ve yabancı turistler için maske, mesafe ve hijyen kuralları çerçevesinde getirilen bazı kriterlere uyma zorunluluğu getirmişti. Açık büfeler kapalı büfe haline getirilmiş, masa ve sandalye mesafeleri, hijyen spreyleri ve buna benzer bir çok kural yürürlüğe girmişti. Önceki gün, Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı güvenli turizm sertifikasyon programının sona erdiğini turizmcilere bildirdi. Turizm tesisleri eski günlerine geri dönmeye başladı. Sürdürülebilir turizm sertifikasyonuna dikkat Sürdürülebilir turizm sertifikasyonunun yürürlüğe girdiğini ifade eden Başkan Dengiz, “Bundan sonra sürdürülebilir turizm adı altında bir program var. 2030 yılına kadar bütün otellerde uygulama zorunluluğu bulunmaktadır. Dünyada bilinen bir programdır. Sürdürülebilir dediğimiz bu program, bulunduğu bölgeye uyarlı çevreci bir tesis olması yönünde yapılan bir sertifika programı. Sürdürülebilir turizm sertifikasyonu programında belli bir oda kapasitesinin üzerindekilerin bu programa dahil olmasını umut ediyoruz. Yani 30 ya da 50 oda üzerindeki oteller sürdürülebilir otel sertifikasına tabi tutulabilir” ifadelerini kullandı. Yan yana bulunan plajlı tesislerde cankurtaran kuralına değinen Başkan Dengiz, “Bakanlığa bağlı plaj tesislerinde cankurtaran bulundurması zorunludur. Kıyıdaki 10 tane tesis her biri cankurtaran tutma zorunluluğu var. Ayrıca da cankurtaran kulübesinin de olma zorunluluğu vardır. 10 tane yan yana cankurtaran kulübesi olması gerekiyor. Biz bu durumun daha kolay bir hale getirilmesini söylüyoruz. Umarım yetkililerin bu konuda bizlere hak vereceğini düşünüyoruz” dedi.

We made the same preparations for other natural disasters; personnel training, first aid training, and disaster management training were given. We also warn the hotels and businesses that do not provide these trainings.” 'DESTROYING THE HOTEL AND BUILDING A NEW IS NOT THE SOLUTION' 23 hotels were destroyed in Maraş-centered earthquakes. If there are relevant projects, tourism professionals will not say no.” Another issue is what will happen to the earthquake victims who are placed in hotels after the earthquakes… Dengiz informed that the number of earthquake victims hosted in Bodrum hotels has decreased from 3,300 to 500, and noted that the remaining earthquake victims will be evacuated from the hotels and relocated to other areas. These problems must end. If these problems continue, the season will be very difficult. Despite all the difficulties, the goal set today is not a dream. We can reach our goal of 1.5 million." Underlining that qualified tourists are more important than the number of tourists, Softa continued, “We are experiencing a personnel shortage. This situation does not reduce the interest in us, but the tourists do not leave satisfied. This causes more cheap tourists to come. The current situation shows this. When there are no tourists, businesses reduce prices. Quality tourists should come. The number doesn't matter. Quality should be increased rather than quantity. Tourism is a profession that is easy to access and difficult to maintain. In order for it to be sustainable, quality and qualified service are needed. If you do not have strategies and goals, you will become a cheap tourism country. Bodrum is also in this direction. We are on our way to becoming a cheap tourism city.”

Turizm sezonun başlamasına sayılı günler kaldı. Türkiye’nin önemli tatil merkezlerinden olan Muğla’nın Bodrum ilçesinde yeni sezona yönelik çalışmalar devam ediyor. Geçen yıl 1,1 milyon turisti ağırlayan Bodrum’un bu seneki hedefi 1,5 milyon turist. Ancak Maraş merkezli depremler nedeniyle turizmciler, daha çok yurt dışından misafir bekliyor ve iç turizmin olumsuz etkileneceğini düşünüyor. Bodrum Otelciler Derneği (BODER) Başkanı Ömer Faruk Dengiz ‘DEPREM İÇ TURİZMİ ETKİLEYECEK’ Bütün olumsuzluklara rağmen rezervasyonların iyi durumda olduğunu belirten Bodrum Otelciler Derneği (BODER) Başkanı Ömer Faruk Dengiz, sezon açılmamasına rağmen otellerin doluluk oranının yüzde 40’lara vardığını söyledi. Deprem nedeniyle rezervasyonlarda durağanlık yaşandığını ancak iptal olmadığını kaydeden Dengiz, “Birçok olumsuz durumlar karşılaşıyor olsak da bizler elimizden geleni yapıyoruz. Deprem sürecinde rezervasyonlar durdu. İptaller olmadı. Bu, bizler için güzel bir gelişmeydi. Geçen hafta sonu itibariyle İngiliz hava yolu şirketi uçuşlarına başladı ve bu kapsamda ilk İngiliz kafilesi geldi. Her hafta yaklaşık beş uçuş yapılacak. Bununla birlikte Rusya, Polonya ve Almanya’dan uçuşların başlamasını bekliyoruz. Mayıs ayı sonundan itibaren Arabistan bölgesinden de uçuşlar başlayacak. Özellikle İngiltere için eski yoğun taleplerin olduğu günlere dönmesini bekliyoruz” dedi. Depremin özellikle iç turizmi etkileyeceğini vurgulayan Dengiz, “Sonuçta insanlarda deprem nedeniyle bir tedirginlik var. Bu tedirginlik elbette turizmi olumsuz etkileyecek. Özellikle iç turizmde bunun etkilerini göreceğiz. Biz buna hazırlıklıyız. Mesela iç turizm için hazırladığımız oda sayısını azalttık. Yine depremle ilişkili eylem planları oluşturduk. Diğer doğa felaketleri için de aynı hazırlıkları yaptık; personel eğitimleri, ilk yardım eğitimleri, afet yönetimi eğitimleri verildi. Bu eğitimleri alamayan otel ve işletmeleri de uyarıyoruz” diye konuştu. ‘OTELİ YIKIP YENİSİNİ YAPMAK ÇÖZÜM DEĞİL’ Maraş merkezli depremlerde 23 otel de yıkıldı. Otellerde kalan pek çok kişi de hayatını kaybetti. Deprem ülkesi olan Türkiye’de Muğla’da da aktif durumda dört fay hattı bulunuyor. Dolayısıyla Bodrum’un yapı stoku kadar otellerin dayanıklılığı da önemli soru işareti oluşturuyor. Olası bir depremde mevcut otellerin çoğunun dayanıklı olmadığını belirten Dengiz, “Otellerin sağlamlıkları sorunu Bodrum’da da var. Birçok yapı 1990’lı yıllarda yapılmış ve hangi şartlarda yapıldığı beli. Ama bu konu tek başına ele alınacak bir durum değil. Bodrum’da binaların iki katlı olması avantaj sağlıyor. Sadece oteli yıkıp yenisini yapmak çözüm olmaz. Kolektif bir anlayışın ortaya konulması lazım. Deprem nedeniyle sektörün etkileneceğini belirten Softa, “Deprem bu sene turizmi etkileyecek. Deprem nedeniyle şubat ayında hiç rezervasyon almadık. Ama bu süreçte olan rezervasyonlar iptal edilmedi. Bu bizler için önemli bir gelişme oldu. Asıl mayıs itibariyle turizm sezonu başlayacak. Tabi burada seçimler olumsuz bir faktör. Avrupalıların kafasında seçim nedeniyle soru işaretleri var. 14 Mayıs’tan sonra bu sorun da çözülecek” dedi. Sezon öncesi ulaşım başta olmak üzere birçok güncel sorun olduğunu aktaran Softa, “Bodrum’da yol, ulaşım, su, kalifiye eleman sorunu gibi sorunlar mevcut. Bu sorunların son bulması lazım. Bu sorunlar devam ederse sezon çok zorlu geçer. Bütün zorluklara rağmen bugün konulan hedef hayal değil. 1,5 milyon hedefine ulaşabiliriz” diye konuştur. Turist sayısından çok nitelikli turistin önemli olduğunun altını çizen Softa, şöyle devam etti: “Personel sıkıntısı yaşıyoruz. Bize olan ilgiyi düşürmüyor bu durum ama gelen turist memnun ayrılmıyor. Bu da daha ucuz turistin gelmesine neden oluyor. Şu anki durum da bunu gösteriyor. Turist olmayınca işletmeler fiyatları indiriyor. Kaliteli turistin gelmesi lazım. Sayısı önemli değil. Nicelikten ziyade niteliğin artması lazım. Turizm erişilebilirliği kolay, sürdürülebilirliği zor olan bir meslek. Sürdürülebilir olması için de kaliteye ve nitelikli hizmete ihtiyaç var. Strateji ve hedefleriniz olmazsa ucuz turizm ülkesi olursunuz. Bodrum’un gidişatı da bu yönde. Ucuz turizm şehri olma yolundayız.” Kaynak Gazete Duvar
