Kaçkar Dağları Avrupa'nın helikopter kayak merkezi oluyor

İsviçre Alpleri'nde ve dünyadaki kayak merkezlerinin pek çoğunda bu yıl yeterli kar olmazken heliski sporunun Türkiye'deki merkezi haline gelen Kaçkar Dağları'nda 13 hafta sürecek faaliyetlerde doluluk yaşanıyor. Helikopterle sporcuların zirvelere bırakıldıktan sonra yamaçlardan kaydığı ekstrem spor dallarından heliski, dünyada sayılı merkezlerde gerçekleştiriliyor. Tehlikeli olduğu kadar heyecan verici de bulunan bu spor, Türkiye'de Kaçkar Dağları'nın Rize sınırları içinde kalan Çamlıhemşin ilçesinde 2005'ten itibaren sürdürülüyor. Çamlıhemşin ilçesine bağlı Ayder Yaylası ile Kaçkar Dağları'nda gerçekleştirilen heliski sporu, Türkiye-İsviçre ortaklığındaki Turkey-Ayder Heliski Havacılık ve Turizm Şirketince yürütülüyor. Kaçkarlar, Avrupa'ya yakınlığı ve kar kalitesiyle her yıl değerini artırıyor. Türkiye'deki heliski operasyonunda, uzun süre farklı ülkelerde arama ve kurtarma faaliyetlerinde görev yapan yerli ve yabancı pilot ve dağ rehberleri görev alıyor. Sezonun büyük bölümünü Türkiye'de ve farklı ülkelerdeki helikopter kayağı operasyonlarında geçiren ekipler, profesyonel kurtarma timleri arasında yer alıyor. Ekipler, bölgede teknik çalışmaların tamamlanmasının ardından hava şartlarının normale dönmesi ile üç helikopterle ilk hafta faaliyetini gerçekleştirdi. Faaliyetin ilk haftasına, aralarında Hint ailenin de yer aldığı İsviçre'den gelen 16 kişilik sporcu kafilesi katılarak Kaçkar Dağları'nda elverişli hava koşullarında karın keyfini çıkardı. Kar kalınlığının 1 metrenin üzerinde olduğu bölgede kayan sporcular için güvenlik en üst seviyede tutuldu. Kafilede bu yıl ilk defa küçük yaştaki sporcular da yer aldı. Ailesi ile faaliyete katılan 6 ve 10 yaşındaki çocuklar, Kaçkar Dağları'nda güvenli alanlarda karın tadını çıkardı. Sporcular, zirvelerin yanı sıra karla kaplı çam ormanları arasında da adrenalin dolu zaman geçirdi. "Tüm tedbirler en ince ayrıntısına kadar düşünülerek alınıyor" Rize Kültür ve Turizm Müdürü Esra Alemdaroğlu, helikopterle faaliyetin yapıldığı alanda incelemelerde bulundu, firma yetkililerinden güvenlik tedbirleri hakkında bilgi aldı. Alemdaroğlu, heliski faaliyetlerinde gerekli yasal izinlerin ve güvenliğin son derece önemli olduğuna dikkati çekerek, şunları kaydetti: "Tüm tedbirler en ince ayrıntısına kadar düşünülerek alınıyor. Biz de gerekli incelemeleri yürütüyoruz. Rize-Artvin Havalimanı'mızın yapılmış olması ayrı bir değer kattı. Havalimanına gelen misafirlerimizi kısa sürede konaklayacağı alana, oradan da organizasyonun yapıldığı alana ulaştırıyoruz." Sezonun çok iyi ilerlediğini belirten Alemdaroğlu, "Bölgede faaliyetleri incelediğimizde çok iyi ilerlediğini görebiliyoruz. Kaçkarlar'ın tercih edilmesindeki en önemli etkenlerin başında profesyonel ekibin yanı sıra doğanın güzelliğinin de geldiğini vurgulayan Özkan, şu değerlendirmede bulundu: "Dünyanın en iyi pilotları, kayak rehberleri ile birlikte çalışılıyor. Kaçkar Dağları gibi elimizde inanılmaz güzel bir ürün var. Karın kalitesi çok iyi, dağın eğimi heliski faaliyeti için çok ideal. Avrupa'ya çok yakın. Özkan, Kovid-19 döneminde birçok heliski sahasının kapandığını, Türkiye'de ise faaliyetlerin devam ettiğini anımsatarak, şunları söyledi: "Bu dönemdeki güvenli ve kaliteli çalışmamızla sporcu sayısında artış yaşandı. Bölgeyi gelip gören sporcular, inanılmaz mutlu ayrıldı. Şu anda 2023 dolu, 2024 yılının rezervasyonlarını satmaya başladık. 2024 yılında sezonu 14 hafta olarak planlayarak tarih aralığı belirledik. Onun satışları da çok iyi gidiyor. Üzerine koyarak ilerliyoruz. Gerçekten Kaçkar Dağları, heliski operasyonları için dünyada en iyi yerlerden.
