Local and foreign tourists visiting Erciyes enjoy skiing on the slopes and have the opportunity to have fun all day long with various events organized at the resort. Hamdi Elcüman, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Erciyes Inc., stated that they have hosted approximately 2 million tourists in the past two and a half months since the opening of the season. He said, 'We opened our season at Erciyes on December 22. Our aim for this season was to break records. We said, 'We expect record attendance and activities.' Thankfully, we have achieved that. We are currently exceeding 2 million visitors. I can proudly say that our weekend turnstile count, which was around 40-45 thousand in previous years, has hardly dropped below 55 thousand this year. We are pleased to see a strong interest, especially from ski tourists. It gives us great confidence in the future of Erciyes.' Elcüman, who added that 90% of the 110-kilometer ski slopes in Erciyes are open, said, "Of course, it is not only about the infrastructure or operating the area very well. Especially on weekends, we are constantly active. Erciyes is lively, all of our slopes are open. 90% of our 110-kilometer slopes are open. All connecting slopes are open. We are serving our guests. As you can see, people are showing quite intense interest.

Overall, the average cost of daily rentals at ski resorts in February increased by 18% compared to the previous year, reaching 7.7 thousand rubles. YuMoney experts point out an increased demand for ski holidays. Moreover, between December 1 and January 24, 2024, the turnover of payments at holiday homes and sanatoriums near ski resorts increased by 59% compared to the same period last year. The average bill increased by 11%, reaching 10.4 thousand rubles. During the same period, hotel reservations increased by 41% compared to the previous year.

Compared to other ice climbing locations, Palandöken's ice course is easily accessible. We organize a festival here every February. Being right next to the ski slope, people can not only ski but also climb on the ice. Turkey's most easily accessible ice wall, the artificial Mustafa Tekin Ice Park, is located on the southern slope of Palandöken at an altitude of 2,200 meters, 3,176 meters above sea level. Erciyes Ski Center, known for its 112 kilometers of slopes, 19 mechanical facilities, and cable car lines reaching an altitude of 3,400 meters, attracts a large number of local and foreign tourists every year. The ski center had previously reached a visitor count of 120 thousand. Managed by Erciyes A.Ş., the first mountain management company established by local governments in Turkey, and with a snow depth of 140 centimeters, Erciyes Ski Center continues to draw significant attention. With 41 ski slopes and 19 mechanical facilities, Erciyes is a hub for mountain climbing and winter sports. Fifteen hotels provide accommodation in the area. Erciyes Ski Center, which serves as a magnet for both domestic and foreign tourists, experienced a surge in visitors over the weekend. Tourists from countries like the Czech Republic and Poland arrived via charter flights, and scheduled flights from various countries brought foreign tourists to Erciyes for skiing. Together with local visitors from surrounding cities, a total of 123 thousand tourists filled the slopes over the weekend. The interconnected pistes at the four gates, namely Develi, Hisarcık, Tekir, and Hacılar Kapı, welcomed skiing enthusiasts, allowing them to enjoy the thrill of skiing at Erciyes. Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç stated, "We are at Erciyes Ski Center. A sparkling environment, our Erciyes dressed in pure white. We have four gates: Hacılar Gate, Hisarcık Gate, Tekir Gate, and Develi Gate. Each gate is crowded with people. Having such a ski center, which is like the flagship of tourism for Kayseri, is a source of pride for all of us."
