American tourists who got off the ships went on a tour of Ephesus and the Virgin Mary by buses. Most of the passengers who did not participate in the tour program preferred to visit the center.
Stating that the activity in cruise tourism in Kuşadası is increasing day by day, Global Ports Holding Eastern Mediterranean Regional Director and Kuşadası Ege Port General Manager Aziz Güngör said, “4 ships docked at Kuşadası Ege Port." He stated that 6,782 tourists and 2,900 crew members entered the country on a daily basis.
Güngör said, “There will be days when we will host 5 to 6 ships on the same day in the 2023 cruise season. The port of Kuşadası, which is among the ports that host the most ships in the Mediterranean, quickly returned to its former glory. I wish all our tradesmen to make a lot of profits from this."
