'Atatürk' movie will be shown in movie theaters on November 10

The movie "Atatürk 1881-1919", starring Aras Bulut İynemli, will be screened in movie theaters on November 10 at 09:05.

'Atatürk' movie will be shown in movie theaters on November 10

Cinema screenings of the movie "Atatürk 1881-1919", directed by Mehmet Ada Öztekin and released on November 3, will be held at 09.05 on November 10. Before the film screening, a minute of silence will be held for Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and the film will be watched after the National Anthem.

In addition, the costumes used in the film will be exhibited publicly for the first time at Emaar Square Mall during the week of November 10. Among the costumes to be exhibited are various outfits used by the characters of Mustafa Kemal, Zübeyde, Makbule, Madame Corinne and Miti.

YARNS FOR MOVIE COSTUMES WERE BROUGHT FROM NEW ZEALAND

The costumes of the film were prepared by designer Gamze Kuş. Approximately 10 thousand meters of fabric were used for the civilian population's costumes, and approximately 7 thousand meters for the costumes of the main actors alone. 4 workshops produced 30 weeks for 3 thousand costumes, and a team of 7 people worked for 16 weeks to wear out the costumes. In order to accurately reflect the texture of the fabrics of the 1910s, the threads of the military costumes were brought from New Zealand. It was knitted in Uşak and woven in Kayseri. Thus, 12 thousand meters of fabric were produced in specified color tones.

2,500 hats, designed by Mücella Mert, were produced in 3 workshops in 16 weeks. 300 Anzac military hats were brought from Australia specially for the film.

THE SECOND MOVIE IS IN THE CINEMAS ON JANUARY 5

"Atatürk 1881-1919", which took 1.5 years to prepare and approximately 4.5 months to shoot, will be released in the cinema as two films. The first film, "Atatürk 1881-1919", met with the audience with a 132-minute cinema version on November 3, after a 75-minute special broadcast on television. The second movie will meet its audience in the cinema on January 5.

"Atatürk 1881-1919", which begins with Atatürk's childhood, tells the story of a leader who became a hero on the road to the War of Independence and changed the fate of both himself and his country.
