I received brief updates from each of them.

As the summer season begins, holidaymakers flocking to the Aegean and Mediterranean coasts are always complaining about the high prices and crowds. There is also a rush to the Greek islands. However, before the February 6 Kahramanmaraş earthquake, thousands of domestic and foreign tourists flocked to the beaches of Hatay every summer, but this year the beaches are empty. Hatay, which has the longest coastline in the world and Turkey, is waiting for holidaymakers at Arsuz, Samandağ, and İskenderun beaches. The tradespeople have made all the preparations and are waiting for guests in their container shops.

Just as we united and rushed to the earthquake zone when the earthquake struck, we should now stand by the people of Hatay to heal the wounds. Hatay Can Be the Star of the Mediterranean
As of June 1, the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality has cleaned all its beaches and opened them for public use. Defne Municipality has established a gastronomy street on 14 acres with 81 containers, aiming for both local and foreign tourists to return, shop, and help heal the wounds of earthquake victims. It includes 13 restaurants, cafes, and small businesses. You can enjoy the same flavors as in the past, with no compromise on the quality of its gastronomy, spices, appetizers, fish, and meat, just like in those grand restaurants. Additionally, a shopping area has been set up where you can find everything unique to Hatay, including silk, soap, tomato paste, spices, and more.
Turning Rubble into a Port
To boost Turkey's economy, cruise tourism in the Mediterranean region should also be considered. According to Hatay Governor Mustafa Masatlı, after the destruction, there are 17.1 million cubic meters and 34 million square meters of rubble, which they are sorting. After cleaning the waste material, it could be used on the beaches, and we could build cruise ship ports. There's a concept of Eastern Mediterranean tourism; cruise ships go to Israel, Lebanon, Egypt, and then leave. Yet, Turkey has many tourist spots to showcase. I believe the easiest way for Hatay to rejuvenate and become an attraction center is to revive maritime tourism.
