- TÜRSAB Vice President Davut Günaydın: - "We act with a perspective aiming at the mutual development of tourism. We aim to increase the number of our citizens going to India to much higher than the current levels.
According to the statement made by TÜRSAB, TÜRSAB has added a new one to its activities to improve tourism movements between Turkey and different countries.
TÜRSAB Vice President Davut Günaydın, whose views are included in the statement, said, "As TÜRSAB, we act with a perspective that aims at the mutual development of tourism. Therefore, we aim to increase the number of our citizens going to India to be much higher than the current levels."
Stating that India, whose promotional slogan is "Incredible India", is a very special destination, Günaydın said, "We know that many of our citizens from Turkey also want to see India. The way to intensify this interest is through the work of travel agencies."
Sudhi Choudhary, Consul General of the Republic of India in Istanbul, stated that the purpose of today's event is to showcase the culture, architecture, tourism destination, cuisine, economic and commercial potential of India.
Choudhary said, "With great diversity throughout its 28 states and 8 union territories, India is a popular destination for Turkish people. A large number of people travel from Turkey to India each year, mainly for business and tourism."
