May 19 Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day is celebrated all over the country

Ministry of Youth and Sports, within the scope of Youth Week and 19 May Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, is organizing cultural, artistic and sportive events across the country on May 15-21 in cooperation with municipalities, universities, civil society and public institutions, with the theme of "#HEPYAŞIMIZ19".
Within the scope of the events, representative young people from 81 provinces of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Azerbaijan will meet in Ankara for the first time.
Representative young people will visit the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Grand National Assembly of Turkey and the Presidential Complex.
The event will start with a visit to Anıtkabir by the delegation headed by Youth and Sports Minister Mehmet Muharrem Kasapoğlu at 09:30. Sinan Akçıl will give a concert at the Başkent Nation's Garden at 20:00.
In the statement made by the Ministry, Kasapoğlu emphasized that the enthusiasm of the torch lit by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades in Samsun for national sovereignty and full independence was experienced with the same spirit and enthusiasm in the 100th anniversary of the Republic.
Expressing that the only assurance of Turkey in its march to the future is the youth, as Atatürk pointed out, Kasapoğlu said, "We will reach the goal of a stronger and happier Turkey in science, sports, art and all areas of life with our young people."
