The National Tennis Tournament has begun in Bolu

The national tennis tournament, jointly organized by the Turkish Tennis Federation, the Bolu Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, and the Abant Tennis Ski Sports Club, has begun in Bolu. The tournament features 72 male and 39 female athletes aged 13 and above from various provinces including Cyprus, Tekirdağ, Mersin, Kocaeli, Muğla, Istanbul, Samsun, Düzce, Bursa, Antalya, Ankara, Eskişehir, Sinop, Malatya, Mardin, İzmir, Siirt, Kütahya, Şanlıurfa, Zonguldak, Sakarya, and Bolu.

Emrullah Güler, the Provincial Director of Youth and Sports, stated that with the support of the Bolu Governorship, the sports infrastructure has been strengthened and significant efforts have been made to promote sports at the grassroots level. He emphasized their efforts to make Bolu an important center for tennis and wished success to all participating athletes.

Ahmet Ulusoy, President of the Abant Tennis Ski Sports Club, highlighted the significant progress Bolu has made in tennis since 1999. He noted that Bolu is well-represented on the national stage and thanked all the athletes, coaches, and contributors participating in the tournament. This prestigious tournament is expected to make significant contributions to sports tourism and athlete development. The event invites the entire public to watch and aims to further elevate Bolu’s success in tennis.
