Antalya, one of the important centers of world tourism, with its climate and natural beauties, has been among the first choices of football clubs this year as well as the tourists, who are given to the leagues due to the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Antalya has made a name for itself with sports tourism as well as the number of tourists visiting the city this year. Antalya, which has become the camp address of football clubs with its fields in accordance with international criteria, high service and technical facilities in its hotels, hosted the Spor Toto Super League and high-level teams from abroad during the World Cup break.

Famous clubs have also made their preparations in Antalya, which spends the winter months, which is considered as "dead season" by tourism professionals, active thanks to sports tourism. Crystal Palace from the English Premier League, Napoli and Salernitana, the leaders of the Italian 1st Football League (Serie A), Toulouse from the French League I, Charleroi and Westerlo from the Belgian 1st League teams, Fortuna Sittard, the representative of the Dutch 1st League, Hull from the English Championship teams City, Israel's Maccabi Tel-Aviv, Saudi Arabian team El Batin, Albanian League team Partizani, Latvian club Liepaja also chose Antalya for their winter camp.

The teams, who made their camps in a favorable weather, played friendly matches and participated in tournaments, had a productive preparation season. The teams, who performed their training on 200 football fields in FIFA standards in 934 sports facilities, 185 of which are owned by public institutions and 749 by the private sector, returned to their countries happily.
