According to the statement made by the THY Press Office, the number of passengers carried by the company in August increased by 11 percent compared to the same period of 2022 and rose to 8.7 million, with an international load factor of 85.4 percent and a domestic load factor of 92.7 percent.
While the number of international-to-international transfer passengers was 2.4 million in August 2022, it increased by 20.5 percent to 2.9 million in the same period this year.
The total offered seat kilometers (ACK), which was 20.5 billion in the August 2022 period, reached 22.2 billion with an increase of 8.6 percent last month.
While the cargo and mail volume carried was 148.3 thousand tons in August 2022, it was recorded as 146.9 thousand tons with a 1 percent decrease in the same period of 2023.
