Train passengers toured the natural and historical sites of Bitlis

Passengers of the 'Touristic Tatvan Train', which arrived in Tatvan district of Bitlis from Ankara, toured Nemrut Crater Lake, the Seljuk Cemetery, and historical sites in Bitlis. Organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communications and the Turkish State Railways (TCDD) to promote the tourism values of the region, the 'Touristic Tatvan Train' arrived in Tatvan at around 11:00 PM the previous night after a 2-day journey.

After the welcome, the train passengers were settled into their accommodations. During the day, they toured the Ahlat Seljuk Square Cemetery, Nemrut, and historical inns, baths, bridges, and madrasas in the center of Bitlis. The Touristic Tatvan Train will depart from Tatvan Station to Ankara this evening, taking the passengers it brought.
