The 13th QM-Quality Management Awards, recognized as the Oscar of Turkish tourism and 'Turkey's Most Comprehensive Tourism Awards', found their owners with a ceremony held in Antalya. Individuals and brands in 76 different branches in 10 main categories received QM Awards.
The QM award ceremony, which brought together tourism industry professionals and stakeholders from all over Turkey, was a morale booster for the new season. The ceremony, where industry representatives came together and created a strong synergy, started with a cocktail. Stakeholders from the tourism sector, who took their places with the gala dinner, followed the announced results.
In his speech, Selçuk Meral, Chairman of the Board of Directors of GM CENTER and Founder of QM AWARDS, told how they started out 13 years ago. Meral said that they were very excited and happy. Noting that their excitement and interest increased each year, Meral said, "This year, the awards have been shaped by the votes of 100 thousand visitors. The main reason for our excitement is to state that the tourism industry manages Turkish tourism with a quality management approach. Votes are coming from all over the world. There are tourism professionals from all over Turkey here.
"WE ARE CARRYING OUT AN INTENSIVE WORK"
Selçuk Meral also said that they have already started preparations for the 14th Quality Management Awards to be held next year. Noting that the next year will be an organization full of surprises, as they do every year, Meral said, "We have intense work. Our goal is to ensure that a local and national Turkish brand takes a step in world tourism."
100 THOUSAND TOURISM STAKEHOLDERS VISITED
At the gala night, 76 people and brands in 10 different categories won the QM Awards and their awards were presented. Selçuk Meral also thanked the sponsors at the award ceremony held for the 13th time this year. The winners of the QM (Quality Management) Awards, traditionally organized every year by GM Tourism & Management Magazine, were determined in the light of the survey results and propositions that can be voted in 5 different languages. A total of 100 thousand tourism stakeholders, national and international, visited the QM Awards survey page this year.
