171 flights are expected from Russia every day as of June

Dmitriy Gorin, Vice President of the Union of the Russian Tourism Industry, stated that they will carry out 171 flights a day from Russia to Turkey in the summer period, 1150-1200 times a week, 750 of which will be made by Russian airline companies and 400 flights will be made by Turkish airline companies, and as a result, the number of tourists are expected to reach 7 million. Last year, in the summer season, a total of 750 to 850 flights were made per week by both Russian and Turkish airline companies.

Considering the flights organized by tour operators, Coral, Anex, Pegas, Fun&Sun, Intourist, Tez Tour and Biblio-Globus, it is stated that the number of tourists coming from Russia to Turkey is expected to increase by 30-40 percent compared to last year. Turkey is preparing to receive 171 aircraft from Russia every day as of June. Izvestiya newspaper wrote that as of June, the Russian aviation institution decided to increase the number of flights to Turkey by 50 percent.

In the summer, there will be 1,200 flights a week from Russia to Turkey. According to the plan, 10 airline companies in Russia will perform 750 flights, and Turkish airlines will perform 450 flights. The most direct flights to Turkey are planned to be made to Istanbul, Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman and Izmir. Southwind Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Nordwind Airlines, Azur air, Pegasus Airlines, Corendon Airlines, Red Wings, Aeroflot, Azimuth and Yamal will fly from Russia to Turkey this year.

While the number of visitors to Antalya in the first three months of the year broke records, it is stated that the increase will contract in April and May, but the rise will continue.
