In the tourism city of Antalya, the crowds on the beaches continued to increase on the second day of Eid al-Adha. With Eid al-Adha being declared a 9-day holiday, Antalya, a constant favorite among holidaymakers, is experiencing a bustling celebration. The city, where the air and sea temperature is measured at 28 degrees Celsius and the humidity at 72 percent, saw increased crowds on the second day compared to the first day of the holiday. Holidaymakers flocked to Konyaaltı Beach to sunbathe, swim, and have fun. It was noticeable that most of those swimming were children. Police teams frequently patrolled the beach area to ensure that citizens have a safe and peaceful holiday.
"This holiday is more crowded than other holidays."
Kemal Kaya, enjoying the sea at the beach, said, "The weather is very nice and the beach is very crowded. This holiday is more crowded than other holidays. The sea is also very beautiful. My daughter, who is in university, came, and we are spending time together. I will swim and then go home."
Nine-year-old Veysel Efe Ölmez, who came to Antalya for a holiday from Adana with his father, also said, "Antalya is very beautiful. I'm having a good time with my dad. Even though it's crowded, it's nice. I like that there are tourists."
