Burhan Sili, Board Member of the Turkish Hoteliers Federation (TÜROFED) and President of the Alanya Touristic Operators Association (ALTİD), stated that extending the Eid al-Adha holiday to 9 days is a positive decision both for allowing citizens to enjoy their vacations comfortably and for revitalizing the tourism market. Sili remarked, "Extending the holiday is a great opportunity for the tourism sector."
